Happy Leap Year Day!  In honor of those who only get to celebrate their birthdays once every four years, and for the rest of us with an extra day on our hands – let’s celebrate with some weird and wacky wines.  Need some ideas?

QUICK EASY FLAN

Quick Flan

Ingredients:

2 sheet puff pastry

4 eggs

200g sour cream or cream dip

400g of mixed left-overs or meat and assorted veg

Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

1. Preheat oven 200 C
2. Line an overproof quiche dish with baking paper
3. Line dish with puff pastry (don't do anything to the pastry)
4. Beat eggs and mix in sour cream or dip
5. Sprinkle the left-overs or meat and assorted veg
6. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly brown.

Serve with a green salad.
